We couldn't have been happier to find out we we're pregnant with our 4th child and that we would be having a little girl. I was three months pregnant and ended up in the hospital sick with a fever and yet to find out the next morning by ultrasound that my baby had a rare disorder called "Acraina" Which means no skull encasing the brain. Me and my husband we're devastated to say the least. We have three other healthy children and would have never thought this would happen to us. We we're advised from the doctor that our baby would have zero chance of life and was told we should consider a medical abortion. We talked for several hours over this and soon decided that we would leave it into God's hands. I ended up having the joy to carry my baby girl inside my tummy for six months and gave birth to her May 10th 2004. She was stillborn. We named her Cassidy Faith and she was 7oz and 8 inches long. She was so tiny she fit in the palm of my hand. All though it was one of the saddest days of my life it was also one of the Best!♥ I got to see my daughter and hold her in my arms. I miss Cassidy so much and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her. Cassidy has three brothers and one sister. One year and one day later on May 11th 2005 I gave birth to Caden her baby brother. It has been a few years since Cassidy has left us but we still hold her very close to our heart. Big brother Alex is now 16 years old joined by brother Jeremiah now 8 sister Mariah 10 and baby brother Caden 5. My oldest son Alex was there during this and got to be present after birth however Jeremiah and Mariah was to young to understand. I have talked a lot about Cassidy to them and now that they are a little older I have shared photo's with them as well as all the memories that we had in the little bit of time we shared with her. Although Caden was after Cassidy he will one day also know of Cassidy as well. Sorrows and heartache came our way, but we finally learned to turn it all over to God. Things are not always the way we want them to be or how we would like them, but I know that God's way is Best no matter what we encounter in life. I know that my baby girl, Cassidy Faith is in Heaven with God and he is watching her closely as she sits in the arms of an Angel. We all miss Cassidy very much and we will Always hold a very special place for her in all of our hearts!♥ Love You baby Girl Always And Forever!
